One of the world's largest brand-name apparel companies required the support of RGIS. The company design and market jeans, casual wear and related accessories for men, women and children. Its products are sold in more than 110 countries worldwide through a combination of chain retailers, department stores, online sites, and a global footprint of approximately 3,000 retail store and shop-in-shops.
REQUIREMENTS
The apparel manufacturer and retailer needed a company with retail experience to count the assets in all stores nationwide, so required RGIS to provide the following:

SOLUTION
The apparel company partnered with RGIS to complete the
retail store asset count project, and RGIS provided the following:
- Scheduled a team of
two experienced RGIS auditors per store

Attached barcode labels to all fixed assets within each store
- Scanned each barcode with mobile phones to
add to the asset register
RESULTS
The apparel company found by outsourcing the
retail store asset count project to RGIS, the following results were achieved:
- All
fixed assets were accurately labelled, scanned and added the asset register
- Prepared final
reports for every location
- The customer was

- Accurate locations of all the retail assets means that
assets can be moved between stores without having to order new items which
